CONCLUSION

From looking at the data there was a common pattern:
- Sand with in the wall was getting sucked out from the center which created sand deposits on the sides of the wall
- Dirt and grass seemed to hold

DATA COLLECTED

FINDINGS!

The wall of the Loko Ea fishpond site has started to collapse and by doing this investigation I was hoping to figure out what exactly was helping the wall and what the wall did not need.

PROJECT BENEFITS

Maintain a strong structure

Easy for younger volunteers to do
Track progression to see what is happening to the wall

Measuring the strength of the fishpond:

Great way to track how well a pond structure
Tracking progress by using a table will be easy to teach and will be quick.
Set transects in key areas that provide enough area for analyzing.
