RECOMMENDATIONS
To effectively engage others is simply talk about my experience, working with the groups, making it appealing to them will only benefit my wish. Asking them to think about sustainability and what they can do right now. By just asking the younger students to participate they can consider it.
If they end up going it may strike a interest into the family and it may spread to friends, etc. I could step up a video or a powerpoint showing what is it like going to one of these events. Even if it's not about fishponds and they start looking at a sustainable way to save electricity
COLLABORATION
A easy way for me to get involved is by joining a group of people that are restoring the ancient fishponds such as Loko Ea. There are many ways or opportunities in where I can help get in contact with certain groups that go out to restore fishponds like clearing the invasive species that are there would help the fishponds grow to their full potential.
